Emily Todd

Emily I. Todd, age 92, passed into the arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

She was born in Cuero, Texas on December 21, 1927, to Ernest J. Sturm and Meta Dierenger Sturm.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Emily was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby E. Todd; brothers, James Sturm and Bill Sturm; and sister, Mary Kunschik.

She is survived by her son, Hugh Todd of Carrollton, Texas; granddaughter, Heather (Jason) Blalock of Garland, Texas; grandson, Jeffrey Todd of Carrollton, Texas; great grandchildren, Brittany Ross, Hailey Ross, Kaitlyn Todd, Makayla Todd, and Connor Sweden; great-great-grandson, Colton Ross; sisters, Ann Neslony of Sugarland, Texas, Norma Zengerle of Cuero, Texas, and Margie Frazier of Cuero, Texas; brothers, Michael Sturm of Yorktown, and Gene Sturm of California, and sister-in-law, Nora Ann Sturm of Bryan, Texas.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 with Pastor Zach Tharp to officiate at Roselawn Memorial Park in Alice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
