John Randall Lee, age 63, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born in Durango, Colorado on December 18, 1956 to Sylvia and Elmer Lee.
John retired having worked for over 46 years in the oilfield industry as a driller. He was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen Kimrey.
John leaves behind his wife, Pauline Bailey of Corpus Christi; one son, Nathan Lee of Sandia; two granddaughters, Kassidy Lee and Jules Lee, both of Orange Grove; one great-grandchild, Makead; three step-children, Amy Nava, Shawn Balboa, and Steven Janak, all of Corpus Christi; ten step-grandchildren, Joshua, Kirstyn, Justin, Aliya, Vada, Skyler, Jeren, Anabelle, Presley, and Draven; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019, with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove with Father Patrick Donohoe as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John of the Cross Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
