Marcie Nicole Merritt

Marcie Nicole Merritt, age 38, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018.

She was born in Robstown, Texas on June 8, 1980 to Susan Gail and Robert Wayne Arnold.

Marcie was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her farm and her animals, but as everyone knew, her girls were the light of her life. She had been employed as a Human Resources manager for Trisun Care Center - River Ridge, but before her passing, she was attending Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, pursuing her dream to become a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and one uncle, Albert Arnold.

Marcie is survived by her two daughters, Jayden Merritt and Jolie Merritt, both of Orange Grove, Texas; her mother, Susan Arnold of Orange Grove, Texas; her father, Robert “Bob” (Karol) Arnold of Mathis, Texas; one sister, Hollis (Jeremy Hintz) Arnold of Portland, Texas; one brother, Zach Arnold of Orange Grove, Texas; one niece, Mykenzi Hintz of Portland, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Family will be receiving friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018, with a Chapel Funeral Service to be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roland Contreras officiating.

Interment will follow at Sons of Hermann Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
