Norma Linda (Dominguez) Hernandez

Norma Linda Hernandez, age 59, passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas on Sunday, September 8, 2019.

She was born in Taft, Texas to Edelia Rocha Dominguez and Reymundo F. Dominguez.

Norma was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed gambling, bingo, attending Friday Night Football games, especially her grandchildren’s games. She enjoyed spending time outdoors. She loved having family Barbecues so that everyone could be together, along with the Dallas Cowboys biggest fan!

Norma was preceded in death by her mother, Edelia Dominguez.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 45 years, Jesus Hernandez of Orange Grove, Texas; two daughters, Jessalynn Hernandez and Jessie Lene Hernandez, both of Orange Grove, Texas; five grandchildren, Victor Hernandez, Edelina Hernandez, Roger Herrera, Janeri Herrera, and Rubi Hernandez; her father, Reymundo F. Dominguez of Taft, Texas; two brothers, Ray Dominguez (Lori Prieto) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rene (Roni) Dominguez of Portland, Texas; one sister, Nora (Tim) Rodriguez of Taft, Texas; her former sister-in-law, Ruth F. Dominguez,  as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove, Texas. Services will conclude at the church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas.
