Adulfo G. Perez passed peacefully surrounded by his family on November 14, 2024 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on October 19, 1943 in Realitos, Texas to Alfredo and Clara Perez.
Adulfo proudly served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan, who loved golfing and Tiger Woods. Adulfo was the master bar b que man and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Emma C. Perez; siblings Nativida Perez, Olivia Davila, Rebecca Chapa, Ruben C. Perez and Gloria Perez; and nephews Noel Chapa and Alferdo Perez III.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving children Cynthia P. Ramirez (Robert) and Gilbert Perez (Odlia); grandchildren Wesley Perez (Nadine), Crysta Ramon (Santos), and Jacob Ramos; great grandchildren Elias, Leeora, Dylan, Karsyn, and Nicholas; siblings Alfredo Perez, Jr. (Mary), Abel Perez, Sr., Jose Roel Perez and Felix Perez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St John of the Cross Catholic Church, Celebrant, Father Patrick Donaho. Christian Burial will follow at St John of the Cross Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
The Perez family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff of Palms Nursing home and hospice care unit. Your love and compassion is truly appreciated in their hour of need.
They would also like to acknowledge Christina for her unwavering love and commitment in caring for Adulfo. Your actions did not go unnoticed and they will be forever grateful to you.
