Amparo (Gutierrez) Trevino

Amparo Trevino, age 95, passed away peacefully in her home in Agua Dulce, Texas on Wednesday, 9, 2022.  She was born on November 10, 1926 in Lockhart, Texas to Everardo Gutierrez and Maria Gandara.

Amparo dedicated her life caring for her family.  She was a loving, caring, special person and she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Toribio Trevino; daughter, Noelia Trevino; sister, Angelina Perez, brother, Javier Gutierrez, Noe Gutierrez, and Alejandro Gutierrez; son-in-law, Noe Gauna, and sister-in-law, Idalia paiz.

Amparo is survived by her loving children, Graciela Gauna of Pasadena, Texas, Gilberto (Blanca) Trevino of Mexico, Raul (Clara) Trevino of Houston, Texas, Jose Luis (Sylvia) Trevino of Pasadena, Texas, Robert (Elsa) Trevino of Agua Dulce, Texas; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Funeral Service to be held at 7:30 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel, 2061 E. Main St. Alice, Texas officiated by Deacon Armando Leal. All services will conclude at the funeral home.
