Antonio Benavides, Jr., age 66, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1958 to Antonio Benavides, Sr. and Sylvia Valdez in San Diego, Texas.

Antonio is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Benavides, Sr.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Dolores Ann Benavides of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Vanessa Hoar (Christopher) of San Antonio, Texas; son, Antonio Benavides, III of Corpus Christi, Texas; mother, Sylvia M. Benavides of San Diego, Texas; two grandchildren, the loves of his life, Christian Ramirez, Jr. and Alyssa Leandra Benavides; two brothers, Roberto (Irma) Benavides of San Diego, Texas and Daniel (Marisia) Benavides of SanYgnacio, Texas; one sister, Mary Gilliam of San Diego, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Mario (Arlene) Solis of Portland, Texas and Edwin Mark Solis of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
