Betty Bernice Webster, 92, went to be with our Lord on January 29, 2024 in Franklin, TX. She was born in Bay City, TX on October 26, 1931 to Alfred Peter Raymond and Oma Mae Raymond. Betty loved sewing, crocheting and meticulously tending to her vegetable garden. She collected Precious Moments dolls, thimbles, Betty Boop figurines, anything Coca-Cola as well as Dallas Cowboys collectibles (her late husband was an avid fan). She was known to break out in dance at any given point and you might never know when she might randomly request a duet of one of her favorite songs, Silver Bells (any time of the year). Betty’s legacy is etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Peter Raymond and Oma Mae Raymond; her husband of 61 years, Robert Henry Webster; her sisters Evelyn Rae Huett and Emma Joan Behrens; and her son, James “Jimmy” Henry Webster.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Henry) Prochazka of Somerville, daughter-in-law, Nita Webster of Spring Branch, and sister-in-law Eva Lou Cauthen of Port Neches. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth through her six grandchildren: Brandy Hariman, Brad (Charity) Webster, Colby (Jen) Prochazka, Casey (Nikki) Prochazka, Brent (Nina) Webster, and Crissy Womble. Betty’s love also extends to her fourteen great grandchildren: Cade, Sage, Jack, Will, Bryn, Ally, Liv, Grayson, Colton, Lindsey, Reed, Trace, Garrett and Leni. Additionally, she is survived by six great-great grandchildren.
Betty brought a smile to the face of anyone who was in her presence and will be forever remembered as a kind, loving, and spirited soul. She shall be with us always in our thoughts and prayers. May she rest in eternal peace.
