Bruce Allan Rokohl passed away Thursday, May 25 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 67.
Bruce was a beloved teacher in the Corpus area, teaching US History and Government, sponsoring UIL Mock Trial teams, National Honor Society, and was involved in many other ways in the community and school system. A native of the Corpus area, he grew up in Orange Grove, Texas, went to University of Texas and Southwest Texas School of Law, and was a practicing family law attorney in the Houston area for almost 20 years before retiring from practicing law and moving to the Corpus area to teach.
Bruce was a gracious and generous father of two sons and three grandchildren: Eric Rokohl, of Houston, with his wife Jesica and children Olivia and Zoë; and Tim Rokohl, of Houston, with his wife Sarah and child Noah. Bruce is also survived by his brother, Don Rokohl, of Orange Grove, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bruce will be buried in the Houston National Cemetery with his late wife, Pricilla Lamey Rokohl, and daughter, Adaline Hope Rokohl. Celebration of Life ceremonies will be held at Providence Community Church in Atascocita, Texas, on Saturday, July 29 at 3:15 PM.
