Carol Joseph Pilarczyk, age 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on December 27, 1947 to Joseph Victor Pilarczyk and Lois Theresa Schulte in Mathis, Texas.
CJ loved to hunt, fish, and spend time at the farm. He loved to visit with his “Thirsty Thursday” buddies, but more than anything, Papa loved to spoil his grandchildren.
He was in the oil and gas industry for 39 years, and also enjoyed raising livestock in his free time. He bred and raised the overall grand and reserve champion pig of the 1997 Jim Wells County Fair. CJ was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Lois Pilarczyk, and sister, Carolyn Wostal.
Survivors left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 50 years, Laura Pilarczyk of Orange Grove, Texas; children, Raylene (Kenneth) Ponton of Lagarto, Texas, Crissie (Jamie) Overton of Orange Grove, Texas, Christopher (Lindsey) Pilarczyk of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Jackie and Colton Ponton, Kelsie, Mallorie, and Jayden Overton, Peyton, Piper, and Pace Pilarczyk.
