Carmen E. Franco

Carmen Enriquez Franco, 81, passed away on August 10, 2020. She was born in Sandia, TX on February 24, 1939 to Federico and Maria Lopez Enriquez.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Carmen is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Manuel R. Franco; mother-in-law, Guadalupe Flores; father, Federico Enriquez; mother, Maria Lopez Enriquez; sisters, Manuela Mendez, Elena Enriquez, and Lucia Garcia; and brothers, Federico L. Enriquez, Santiago Enriquez, and Luis Enriquez.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her children, Esther Franco, Manuel Franco, Jr., Lisa (Robert) Franco Quick, Carlos (Margie) Franco, and Federico Franco; 11 grandchildren, Tiffany, Tara, Andrew, Amie, Anna, Carmen, Elaine, Manuel Franco, III,  Heather, Danielle and Marissa; 11 great-grandchildren, Noah, Tyler, Maci, Katy, Mia, Micah, Isaiah, Ian, Nayeli, Autumn, and Olivia; brother, Guillermo Enriquez; sister-in-law, Perla Franco Wheeler; dear friends of many years, Mary Rocha, Maria Torres, and Yolanda Rojas; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Serving as Pall Bearers, Andrew Svehla, Percy Akins, Eric Enriquez, Rodney Rivera, Robert Quick, and Bobby Rivas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St. Alice, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Special Hearts in the Arts.
