Criselda Contreras

Criselda Contreras, age 55, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on November 18, 1967 in Hereford, Texas to Daniel Villarreal, Sr. and Erlinda Acevedo.

Criselda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her parents, Daniel and Erlinda Villarreal of Orange Grove, Texas; sons, Juan “JC” Contreras of Orange Grove, Texas and Ricardo “Ricky” Contreras of Portland, Texas; three grandchildren, Shelbie May Contreras, Elijah Cy Contreras, and MaryBel Vela; two sisters, Irene (Ryan) Ishler of Katy, Texas and Isabel (Felix) Vargas of Orange Grove, Texas; two brothers, Daniel (Mercy) Villarreal of Orange Grove, Texas and Ruben Navarro of Alice, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Monday, February 6, 2023 with a Chapel Service to be held at 1:30 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary. Burial will follow at Pro Union Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
