Daryl W. Grossman

Daryl W. Grossman, age 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1968 in   Alice, Texas to John A. Grossman and Catherine Grossman.

He graduated from Alice High School in 1986. Shortly after, he joined the US Army. He served in Korea, Panama, and Hawaii and was in the Military Police Unit from 1986-1994. After the service, he joined the oil field as a coil tubing supervisor in Alice, Robstown and Odessa.  Daryl enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, John A. Grossman, brother, John Stuart Grossman; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Wanda Shilling and paternal grandparents, Joe and RoseLee Grossman.

Daryl is survived by his daughter, Bella Sophia Grossman; mother, Catherine Grossman; brother, Bradley Grossman and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E Main St. Alice, Texas, 78332. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary with interment to follow at Alice Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Harold Grossman, David Shumann, Randy Shilling, Malcom Nesloney, Kirk Baxter and Gray Scoggins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local church or favorite charity.

 Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
