Denise B. (Bowen) Strickland

Denise Bowen Strickland, age 59, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2019 in Alice, Texas. 

Denise was born in Odessa, Texas on April 29, 1960 to Donna and David Bowen. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1979.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed by the many lives that she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Bowen.

Denise is survived by her mother, Donna Bowen of Alice, Texas; her sister, Debbie (Mike) Brown of Sandia, Texas; two nieces, Courtney (Joe) Herrmann of Banquete, Texas and Amanda Majek of Beeville, Texas; two nephews, Flint (Dee) Brown of Sandia, Texas and Danny Brown of Corpus Christi, Texas; two great-nieces, Hailee Lowman of Banquete, Texas and Breann Brown of Beeville, Texas; as well as one great-nephew, Austin Majek of Calallen, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice, Texas, with Pastor Donald Bailey officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas.
