Dorathy Ann "Dot" Knapp

Dorathy Ann “Dot” Knapp, 85, passed away peacefully in Kingsville, Texas on December 21, 2023. She was born March 17, 1938 to Edwin Bertie West and Lillian Webber. Dot was a homemaker and member of the St. James Catholic Church in Bishop for many years. She was also a member of the Columbian Ladys and a Girl Scout leader. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be dearly missed.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband William "Bill" Knapp, and her brother Max (Dean) West.

She is survived by her two children, Cindy (Rick) Silguero of Bishop, Texas and Billy Knapp of Manor, Texas; one grandson, Cliff (Dionne) Knapp; three great-grandchildren, Kason (Chyna) Pesina- Knapp, Boston Knapp, and Kennedy Knapp; one brother, Bert West of New Braunfels, Texas; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Knapp of Crossplains, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St., Alice, TX. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop. A Graveside Service will be held at Coastal bend State Veterans Cemetery January 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi, Texas.
