Edwardo Aaron Valadez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edwardo Valadez (Eddie), Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend to many at the age of 63. Edwardo was transported on by ambulance on 1/19/2025 from the Alice Christus Spohn Hospital to the Christus Spohn Hospital, (Corpus Christi) where he passed away peacefully. Eddie was born December, 23, 1961 to Silverio Valadez and Esther Valadez in Falfurrias, Texas.

Eddie, attended Hillcrest Elementary school, William Adams Jr. High, and High School till his 11th year in Alice, Texas then moved to Ohio, where he Graduated from Willard High School in 1980  Moved and returned to Texas with his children and wife, then to return back to Ohio 1989 with the Kroger Co. Transfer and continued as Store Manager for 20 years, Attended Ohio State University in the Industrial AC/Vac & Maintenance in pursuant to acquire his Certifications and Degree, all while working at Kroger Co.   He was eventually able to work and utilized his skills and knowledge in working as a Medical Rehab Maintenance Manager in San Diego, Texas and all so at Christus Spohn Hospital, in Alice, Texas after he moved back to Palito Blanco, Texas, where he resided.

Eddie was the oldest of three children. He was a loving devoted father to his Two sons, One Daughter and Two Grandsons.  Family was everything to him.  He will be remembered for always having a great sense of humor.  He was always cheerful with his smile. He attended church on a regular basis at St. Joseh Mission Church, in Palito Blanco, Texas, he loved watching Football and talking with his children, calling them regularly and making sure they were all fine.  He loved working on his projects at home, building and fixing, plus also was very knowledgeable in Auto Mechanics, and always tinkering with his vehicles.

He was greatly loved by all his family far and near to his heart, and will be greatly missed by his children and all his family. Left behind to cherish his memory are his Daughter, Vanessa A., Son, Edward Valadez, Son, Nick Valadez. and Grandsons, Aaron, & Nathan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Valadez and brother, Silverio Valadez, Jr.

Edwardo is survived by his Father, Silverio Valadez; Children, Edward, Nick, Vanessa; Mother of His Children Diana Dalton; Brother David Valadez; and Grandchildren, Nathan Valadez, & Aaron Valadez.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Chapel Service at 12:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, Followed by a Christian Burial at Valadez Family Cemetery in La Bandera, TX.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas
