Eloisa G. Medrano

December 24, 1938 ~ September 15, 2023 (age 84) 84 Years Old

Eloisa Medrano was welcomed to her forever home in heaven into the loving arms of her husband on Friday, September 15, 2023, at her family’s ranch in Orange Grove, Texas.

Eloisa was born December 24, 1938, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Alfredo and Antonia Gonzalez. Eloisa married the love of her Baldemar Medrano on December 28, 1955. Their everlasting love started with a dance, and together, they had five children: Alfred, Alma, Rose, Baldemar Jr., and David. Eloisa dedicated her life to being a loving mother and grandmother. Pictures throughout her house displayed her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether it was a crochet blanket, menudo on Christmas, or the occasional birthday mix drink with some Spanish music playing. Eloisa truly loved being around her family and was the glue that kept them together for so many years. She will forever be remembered and missed by many people she helped, raised, and loved.

Eloisa was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Baldemar Medrano Sr.; her parents Alfredo and Antonia Gonzalez, brothers Leon and Rene Gonzalez, and their chihuahua’s Paco and Wera Medrano.

Eloisa is survived by her children, Alfred Medrano, Alma Medrano, Rose Reyes, Baldemar Medrano Jr., and David Medrano. Eloisa is also survived by her brother-in-law Frank Medrano Jr, sister-in-law Eva Medrano-Hughes, sister Elia Lozano (late husband Ruben Lozano), Maggie Martinez (late husband Pete Martinez), Nelda Diaz, Veva Charles (Benny Charles), Felicita Garcia (Seferino Garcia), Mimi Palacios (Joe Palacios), and Alma Zamora (Alfredo Zamora).

Her loving grandchildren left to cherish her memory are Frank (Elena) Medrano), Amanda (Leroy) Zamora, Cody (Alyssa) Medrano), Amber Medrano, Caesar (Tiffany) Tanguma, James Matzas, Joshua Matzas, Jennifer Medrano, Tonya (Casey) Jones, JD (Samantha) Medrano, and Taylor (Ben) McVeigh.
