Ernest Wayne Kohler

Ernest Wayne Kohler, age 53, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on March 28, 1968 to Ernest Kohler and Judy Person.

He loved fishing, BBQ’n, watching football, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Ernest was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and loving aunt.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Phyllis Kohler of Alice, Texas, three children, Tiffany (Jay) Edwards of Alice, Texas, Elizabeth (Ruben) Gomez, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Robert (Kathy) Gafford of Orange Grove, Texas; eight grandchildren, Athena & Maxwell Edwards, Ruben Gomez III, Ava Gomez, Evan Gomez, James Buck and William Gafford, and Olivia Gafford; one great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Gomez; two brothers and three sisters; and numerous nephew nieces, cousins, friends.
