Ernesto C. Garza went home to meet his Lord and Savior on October 19, 2025.
Ernesto was born on May 28, 1955 in Kingsville, Texas to Maximilano and Elvira.
In his younger years, Ernesto loved to sing and play baseball. He later joined his father to help run the Garza trucking business. He continued his trucking career and worked for numerous trucking companies. He later became a dispatcher and retired from the oilfield. Ernesto loved to fish, watch the Dallas Cowboys and be surrounded by his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maximiliano and Elvira Garza and his twin brother, Hector Garza; baby sister Guadalupe Garza.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosabel Garza; his children, Angelica M. Barrera, Ernest G. Garza, and Aniella M. Garza; his grandchildren, Marco A. Barrera, Austin D. Barrera, Olivia L. Barrera, Alex Garza, Romeo N. Garza; and his siblings, Max (Joann) Garza, Janie Breseman (Jon), Arnulfo (Irma) Garza, Arnoldo Garza, Sarita (Roel) Lopez. And numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM with a Christian Burial to follow at St. James Cemetery.
