Eulalio Garza

Eulalio Garza, age 78, entered into his Eternal Rest on Monday, May 13, 2019. He was born on October 26, 1940 in Alice, Texas to Gabriela and Eulalio Garza, Sr.

He worked as a truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed playing pool, dancing, the outdoors, and especially spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Eulalio Garza, III; two brothers, Alfredo Garza and Manuel Garza and one sister, Rosa Flores.

He will be dearly missed by his three sons, Bonifacio (Melissa) Garza of McAllen, Gabriel Garza of Alice, and Alfredo (Cynthia) Garza of Amarillo; six daughters, Irene Estrada of Katy, Janie (Daniel) Garza of Alice, Adelita Rodriguez of Edinburg, Cenaida (Juan) Montoya of Alice, Erica (Jorge) Soriano of Amarillo, and Elva (Omar) Chacon of Amarillo; twenty-three grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Rebecca Reyna of Alice; and many cherished friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Alice. Interment will follow at New Collins Cemetery in Alice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas.
