Faye Ellen Poldrack

Faye Ellen Loosier Poldrack was born in Corsicana, Texas October 1, 1938. She always loved sitting and reading the word of God. In fact, she would complete reading the King James Bible through from cover to cover every year. Because of poor eyesight in the latter years when she could no longer read, her husband Carl would read for them both. For her last count of reading the Bible through alone in one year was 66 times. Her favorite scriptures were Psalms 91: 1-4. Her favorite song was, “Tell them when you saw me, I was on my way”.

Faye’s favorite hobby was serving and helping others. She proved this by working in various nursing homes serving the aged. She began with activity director, admissions clerk, book keeper, social worker, and lastly in the administration.  She was married May 14, 1960 in the Assembly of God church in Franklin, Texas to Carl Poldrack, and together they pastored various churches throughout the North, West, and South Texas.

She was preceded in death by both her parents Ollie and Mae Loosier, her sister Marion Richardson, her sister Joan Boyd, and her brother Tommy Loosier.

She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years Carl, her son Carl and Mindee Poldrack of Dobbin, Texas, her daughter Rebekah and Albert Cortez of Katy, Texas, one grandson Taylor Cortez and fiancée Katee Holleron both of Huntsville, Texas.

She is to be interred at the Wheelock Cemetery out of Hearne, Texas.
