Graciela Quintanilla

Graciela Quintanilla, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2020. She was born in Agua Dulce, Texas on January 9, 1941 to Pedro V. and Rosa R. Quintanilla.

She retired from Agua Dulce ISD where she was employed as a Para Professional for many years. She especially loved working with children. Graciela enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, gardening, and family trips. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Graciela was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Pedro Quintanilla, Jr.

She is survived by her loving companion of 50 years, Irene Herrera; sister, Amparo Gonzalez of Agua Dulce; brothers, Ramon (Rosa) Quintanilla of Corpus Christi and Richard (Alice) Quintanilla of San Antonio. Graciela is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 801 S. Reynolds Alice, Texas, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 2:00 p.m.; Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Christian Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
