Guadalupe Vasquez Obituary

Monday, May 5th, 2025, we lifted up the soul of a beloved mother, Guadalupe Vasquez—a woman of quiet strength, enduring grace, and boundless love. At 84 years old, she leaves behind a life woven with meaning, shaped by service, and filled with care for those she cherished most.

She stood beside her husband, a faithful Army veteran, through the trials of life and the sacrifices of service. She raised her son to walk in the same path of honor—first as a soldier, then as a protector of peace and law. Through them, her spirit of courage and selflessness lives on.  She lovingly nurtured two daughters, passing on her wisdom, her warmth, and the unshakable values that shaped their lives.

Lord, receive her into Your eternal rest. Let her find peace beyond pain, light beyond darkness, and joy that never ends. Let the arms of her Savior embrace her now, just as her arms once comforted so many.

Her hands were never idle, her love never withheld. In every quiet act of sacrifice, in every word of comfort, she gave herself fully to the ones she loved. Her life was a testament to devotion, humility, and enduring grace.

Now, Lord, we ask that You receive her into Your eternal embrace. Let her rest in the peace she so deeply deserves. Free from all pain, from all worry—may she walk in the light of Your glory, reunited with loved ones who’ve gone before, and held in the arms of her Savior.

Bring comfort to those who remain—her husband, her son, her daughters, her family—wrap them in Your mercy. Let them feel her presence still, in the memories they hold, the love she gave, and the lives she shaped. Help them carry her legacy with pride, with love, and with the same strength she lived by.

She is preceded in eternal life by her parents, Serapio Nunez II and Celia Chapa; her siblings, Serapio Nunez III, Rudy Nunez, and Violet Nunez.

Loved ones left behind to cherish her memories are her husband of 67 years, Fermin Rios Vasquez; her beloved children, Robert Vasquez Sr. (Thelma), Angel Vasquez, and Denise Vasquez (Donald); grandchildren, Robert Vasquez Jr., Antonio Daniel Vasquez (Vanna), Analicia Maria Perry (Nickki Perry), Michael Shane Gonzales (Tiffany), Mark Anthony Vasquez, Amber Nicole Gonzalez (Chris), Zachary Noah Beish (Celeste), Rianna Rose Beish (Addison), Olivia Grace Beish; and 17 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

We thank You for her life, Lord. May her soul rest in peace, and may Your grace be upon us all.
