Helen F. (Travis) Grant

Helen Grant, 74, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. She was born on December 18, 1946 in Edinburg, TX, to Elmer Travis and Ariel Meeks Travis.

Helen was a member of the Living Word Fellowship who enjoyed bible study and prayer meetings. She retired as the church secretary of Immanuel Lutheran Church after 30 years.

Helen took pride in raising her children and loved spending time baking with her granddaughters. She enjoyed dancing and listening to Christian and Country music. Helen had the sweetest smile and was the kindest person you ever met. She always kept a positive outlook on life. Helen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roger Grant.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her son, Eric (Alicia) Grant of Stockdale, TX; daughter, Danna Grant of Stockdale, TX; and granddaughters, Jessica Rogers and Lacy Rogers.

A Memorial Service will be held in her memory at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, TX; Officiant, Pastor Kathleen Kasper. Burial will follow at Alice Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Living Word Fellowship, P.O. Box 3810 Alice, TX 78333.
