Helen Jean Pease, age 89, passed away peacefully, on Monday, August 3, 2020.
She was born in Tampico, Mexico, on November 27, 1930 to Milton and Evelyn Webster Medlin.
She was a member of FBC-Freer for many years. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. In her later years she spent her time playing bingo, dominos, and poker at The Villa where she resided. Helen was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jeff Pease; and sister, Becky Thompson.
Helen is survived by her sons, Billy John (Dathulia) Pease of Beaumont, Texas and Steven Vick (Brenda) Pease of Corpus Christi, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Rosa Lee Clary of San Antonio, Texas; and brother, Milton John (Sharon) Medlin of Louisiana.
The Pease family would like to express their gratitude to all the caregivers and staff members at The Villa. Their level of care, compassion, and love for the past 11 years is beyond measure; it did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated by our family.
Graveside services will be private.
CDC, state and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend.
The family request in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to The Villa at Northwest located at 2822 Robby St, Corpus Christi, TX 78410 in memory of Helen J. Pease.
