Hilda G. Asevedo

Hilda G. Asevedo passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 7, 2022 in Agua Dulce, Texas. She was born in Alice, Texas to Eduardo Garza and Felipa Luna.

Hilda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church and a devoted catholic. She spent most of her time being “Grandma”. Her two grandsons were the love of her life. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death her parents; sister, Diana A Bedford and her brothers, Eduardo Garza, Jr. and Octavio Garza.

Hilda is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Felipe N. Asevedo of Agua Dulce, Texas; daughter Tammy (Sean) Acevedo Cavazos of Agua Dulce, Texas; son, Jaime Acevedo of Agua Dulce, Texas; sister, Refugia “Cooky” (Felix) Zepeda; grandsons, Philip R. Ramirez and Ethan S. Cavazos both of Agua Dulce, Texas; brothers, Juan (Rosie) Garza, Ruben Garza, and Benito (Carmela) Garza all of Agua Dulce, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10: 00 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church IN Agua Dulce, Texas. All services will conclude at the church.
