Janet Lea (Hollers) Foy

Janet Lea Foy, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home following a long battle with cancer, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Alice, TX.  She was born on January 18, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX to Buster Hollers and Genevieve Sprague Hollers.

Janet was a graduate of Alice High School. She was part owner and secretary of GM Compressor and Pump for many years alongside her husband and partners, Garry and Sarah Turk. She loved fishing with her husband, gardening, bird watching, shopping for Rae Dunn, spending time with her family and being the best “Nana” ever.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janet will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael J. “Mike” Foy of Alice, TX; children, April Lea Foy (Barney Cardona) of Alice, TX and Catherine Amber (Daniel) Villesca of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Ava Danielle Villesca, Alivia Danielle Villesca, and Noah Daniel Villesca, all of Corpus Christi, TX; sister, Sharon LeMieux of Kingsville, TX; brothers, Jim (Addie) Hollers of Corpus Christi, TX and Charles Hollers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family receiving friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, TX officiated by Reverend Thomas Turner. A Christian Burial will follow at Alice Cemetery.
