Jean Mann

Jean Mann, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Alice, TX. She was born on April 18, 1935 to Orville Jarrard and Cleo Pearl Morrison Jarrard.

Jean was a wonderful person who enjoyed playing piano, singing, and teaching piano lessons.  She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Realitos where she was the pianist for many years.

Jean especially loved celebrating the holidays with her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 67 years, George Mann; sisters, Pearl Lacy, Essie Hart, and Betty Mann; and brother, Bill Jarrard

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her four children, Dwight (Nancy Jo) Mann of Realitos, Trudy (Ernest) Gildart of Hebbronville, Kurt (Fawn) Mann of Realitos, and Jeannie (David) Vajdos of Agua Dulce; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, TX. Private Burial will follow at Realitos Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
