Jerlean Wostal Theis of Sandia, Tx. went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023 in a Corpus Christi Hospital. She was born June l0, 1940 in Banquete, Tx. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Isabell Wostal of Orange Grove, Tx; husband, Werner Gohmert of Alice, Tx; mother and father-in-law, Noreen and Edward Theis of Bishop, Tx; brothers, Vernon Wostal of New Braunfels, Tx, Alvin Wostal, and GayIon Wostal; sister, Shirley Wostal all of Orange Grove, Tx; sisters-in-law, June Wostal of New Braunfels, Tx, Barbara Wostal of San Antonio, Tx, and Betty Wostal of Topeka, Kansas. 

Jerlean is survived by her husband of 20 years, Kenneth Theis; brothers, Sam Wostal (Joyce Guenther) of New Braunfels, Tx, William Wostal of Topeka, Kansas, and Lonnie (Lacey) Wostal of Orange Grove, Tx; sisters, Natalie (Dorian) David and Adeline (Jimmy) Koenning of Orange Grove, Tx; sisters-in-law, Helen Wostal and Phyllis Theis of New Braunfels, Tx and Lana Wostal of Orange Grove, Tx; stepdaughter, Terri Trevino (Tom Hall) of Fort Worth, Tx; step grandson, Richard Trevino of Houston, Tx; stepdaughters, Sylvia Work of Alice, Tx and Shiela (Tad) Harris of Kerrville, Tx; stepson, Werner Skipper (Pat) Gohmert of Kerrville, Tx and their son, Herb Gohmert; brothers-in-law, Wayne Theis of Angleton, Tx, and Tom Theis of Bishop; well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2023 with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Orange Grove, Texas. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. 

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Wes Wostal, Wade Wostal, Gaylon Koenning, Lance Wostal, Landon Wostal, and Anthony Richter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Wostal, Allan Cranfill, Warren Kopplin, Bill Dunn, and Richard Trevino. 

Memorial Donations can be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial fund in Orange Grove, Texas. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
