Jesus Torres

Jesus Torres, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on May 27, 1964 in Robstown, Texas to Jesus G. Torres, Sr. and Maria Rodriguez.

Jesus started driving combines at the young age of 11 which led to his career as a truck driver for 46 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He especially loved taking his family to the movie theatre, streaming movies at home and pizza and margarita night with his wife at Bubba’s 33.

Jesus was preceded in by death by his loving mother, Maria Rodriguez Torres.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 37 years, Santos M. Torres of Robstown, Texas; children, Jesus Torres III of Robstown, Texas, Michael Lee (Virginia) Torres of San Antonio, Texas, Rebecca Marie (Cameron Beasley) Torres of Robstown, Texas, and Stephanie Lynn Torres of Robstown, Texas; grandchildren, Jaylynn, Alyssa, John, Mikayla, Ava, Addie, Beau, Ezekiel, Elliott, and Logan Franco; father, Jesus G. Torres, Sr. of Robstown, Texas; siblings, Cynthia (Reynaldo) Martinez of Brenham, Texas, Eva (Jose) Soliz of Orange Grove, Texas, Noelia Torres of Austin, Texas, and Roger Torres of Robstown, Texas; father and mother-in law, Eliseo and Lydia Martinez of Banquette, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Monte Sinai Church, 513 W. Ave C., Robstown, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Monte Sinai Church officiated by Pastor Eloy Deleon. Burial will follow at Robstown Cemetery.
