Josephine "Dolly" Marie Kelley

Josephine "Dolly" Marie Kelley age 72 passed away September 27, 2024, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Dolly was born December 18, 1951, to Joseph and Josephine Prasek in Alice, Texas.

Dolly attended school in Agua Dulce where she graduated in 1970. Dolly went on to work at St. Elizabeth Church school, she also taught aerobics and yoga classes. She loved her church where she served as a Eucharist minister for 25 years. She had a great love of animals and her family, especially her granddaughters, who loved their Nana. God, family, and friends were everything to her, and she loved giving herself to others. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sylvan Prasek, Larry Prasek (Paula), twin brother Joseph" JoJo" Prasek; Her father and mother-in-law Elwood and Polly Kelley; and granddaughter Avery Faith Kelley.

Dolly is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Elwood "Woody" Kelley; sons Christopher (Linda) Kelley and Galan (Joan) Kelley; granddaughters Kenadi, Kiera, Mollie, and Maddie Kelley; and sister-in-law Pam (Sylvan ϯ) Prasek.

The Rosary and funeral will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Alice on October 19th at 10 a.m.
