Joyce De Spain, Schane, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 2, 2021 in Alice, TX. She was born on January 9, 1954, in Alice, TX to Eugene De Spain and Alice Beatrice Oneal.

Joyce was a LVN and worked in the home healthcare industry for many years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elizabeth Kelly and Brenda Garrett.

Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 50 years, Charley Schane of Alice, TX; children, Shelley (Orlando) Estrada of San Diego, Richard Eugene (Amanda) Schane of Gregory, TX, and Tammy Schane; grandchildren, Tessa (Joshua Garcia) Estrada, Brandon Estrada, Logan Schane, Evan Schane, Owen Schane, Tyler Johnson, and Ryan Johnson; great-grandchildren, Ashton Garcia and Axel Garcia; brother-in-laws, Darrell (George Anna) Schane of Jourdanton, TX and Joe (Debbie) Schane of Freer, TX.
