Julia Rodriguez

Julia Morales Rodriguez, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on January 28, 1949 in Alice, TX, to Juan Garza, Sr. and Santos Silva.

Julia lived her life serving others. She put her needs aside to see that everyone else was taken care of. She was a great mother, friend, and grandmother. A great role model who was always pushing people to do what was right. Her contagious laughter made her presence known anywhere she went.

She was a member of Experience Church in San Antonio. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Santos Garza, Sr. and brothers, Juan Garza, Jr. and Adan Garza.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children, Joe (Maria) Garza of Alice, TX, Jesse (Linda) Garza of Corpus Christi, TX, Christina Garza of San Antonio, TX, Manuel (Maricela) Morales of Houston, TX, and Cristo Morales of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Jose Garza, Jr., Delicia Joslin, Carlos Herrera II, Azelia Garza, Joseph Daniel Garza, Scarlett Garza, Manuel Morales, Jr., Michelle Morales, and Alejandro Morales; great-grandchildren, Alessa Hanes and Brandon Garza; sisters, Alicia Sanchez, Delia Contreras both of Freemont, OH, Ofelia Garza, Aurora Silva both of Corpus Christi, TX; and brother, Israel (Irene) Garza of Alice, TX.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, March 26, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, TX. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
