June Lafern Rokohl

June Lafern Rokohl, age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born in Alice, TX on September 22, 1942 to Oscar and Madeline Rokohl.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Henry Rokohl and Joe Dale Rokohl; and daughter, Wendi Buesing.

June is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon Garcia of Corpus Christi, TX, Diana (Nigel) Ramberansingh of Houston, TX, and Lynda (Buck) Cerulli of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Bruce Rokohl and Don (Kim) Rokohl; six grandchildren, Joseph, Lauren, Madeline, Jacob, Sarah, and Grace; and three great-grandchildren, Theodore, Adelia, and Cace.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2020 with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St. Alice, TX. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church celebrant, Father Patrick Donohoe, followed by a Christian Burial at St. John of the Cross Cemetery in Orange Grove, TX.
