Karen Ruth Lee

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen Lee, who left us on October 9, 2024 at the age of 64. She was born on June 14, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio.

Karen had a love for the beach, seashells, her rottweilers, sand dollars, and most of all her son Nathan. Karen didn’t care who or what it was, one thing she always believed in was karma. She was a woman of her word and always stood for what she believed in. There was no convincing her otherwise. Karen loved her granddaughters with her whole being. She was there for her nieces and nephews from all over, she claimed them as her own.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband Bryant Gonzales; her mother Thelma Pummel; her father Robert Pummel; sister Connie Pummel; brother Kenny Pummel; and Randy Lee

Karen is survived by her son Nathan Lee; Grandchildren Kassidy Lee and Jules Lee; and numerous friends of many years that were like family.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Faith Church in Orange Grove, TX.

Services are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
