Linda Denise French

Linda “Denise” French, 62, of Alice, Texas, was born to Harris and Billie Crouch in Waxahachie, Texas on May 19, 1960. Denise grew up in Duncanville, Texas with her two older sisters. She married the love of her life, Don French, at the age of 19. They spent their 30 years together raising their 4 children and ministering together as pastor and pastor’s wife.

Denise served many years in her community advocating for families and young children. She was a mentor to many who shared her same passion for early childhood education. She served for 18 years as an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, crafting, shopping and watching sports, especially her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite time was time spent with her children, their spouses and her 21 grandchildren and 5 greats grandchildren.

Denise went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2023. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Harris Crouch, and her husband, Rev. Donald French.

She is survived by her mother, Billie Crouch, her two sisters, Donna (Sterling) Burns and Rhonda (Cecil) Wise, her four children, Gabrielle (Sammy) Garcia, Danielle (Ryan) Eudy, Rachelle (Robert) Lovie and Jonathan (Bethany) French and all her grandchildren, Robbie (Lauren), Ryan (Erin), Torrance, Jacob, Camryn (Junior), Jasmin, Erin, Sophie, Jeremiah, Addyson, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Caydence, Easton, Hunter, Lilah, Waylon, Noah, Brantlee, Asher, Willow, and Sage.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Alice, Texas. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
