Marolyn Jean (Collier) Little

Marolyn Jean Little, age 82, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 in Katy, TX.  She was born in Beeville, TX on February 15, 1939 to Charles Reagan Collier and Marvadine Vines Collier.

Marolyn worked for the Alice Independent School District before retiring and moving to Houston, TX. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed doting over her grandchildren. Marolyn was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, David William Little; parents, Charles and Marvadine V. Collier; and niece, Kimberly Lowe.

Marolyn is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Little (Stacy) Valdes of Katy, TX; son, Charles (Rebecca) Little of George West, TX; grandchildren, Drake Valdes, Carley, Caitlyn, Connor, Callie, and Collin Little; great-grandchildren, Addilee Placencio and Bailee Placencio, and Bentley Clegg; beloved twin sister, Carolyn Lowe; nieces, Karen (Greg) Sawyer and Carolyn (Stan) Fees; and great nieces and nephew, Paige Sawyer, Allison Rogers, and Justin Fees.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, TX. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Holmgreen Mortuary officiated by Pastor Michael Dobbs. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
