Mattie Doris Brandt

Mattie Doris Brandt, age 95, passed in peace at home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was born in Bentonville, to Thomas Jefferson Adams and Ida Ingram Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Brown; grandson, Matthew Grossman; great-granddaughter, Makayla Scott; brothers, Marion Adams, Marvin Adams, and Arnold Adams; and sister, Bernice Foster.

Mattie is survived by her loving children, Judy Grossman of Alice, Nolan (Cindy) Brandt of Orange Grove, Belinda (Weldon) Guettler of Robstown, and Joy (Tom) Sablatura of Sandia; thirteen grandchildren, Stacy (Riley) Brown, Harold (Michele) Grossman, Shelly (Richie) Koenning, Nolan (Amy) Brandt, Michelle (Edward) Bowers, Shana (Brent) Kirkland, Brent (Troy) Grossman, Owen (Kathryn) Brandt, Marcus (Deana) Henneke, Suzanne (Grant) Scott, Tiffany (Chance) York, Heather Mutz, and  Leighton (Andre) McCorkle; 33 great grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ida Mae Light of New Braunfels, TX and Ruth Blundell of Rockport, TX.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St. Alice, TX. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Morningside Drive Church of Christ, 1396 Morningside Dr., Alice, TX. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4607 FM 1889, Robstown, TX 78380.
