Micaela Garza

Micaela Garza, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She was born on September 28, 1960 in Alice, Texas to Marina and Miguel T. Garza.

Micaela was a nurse’s assistant for many years at La Hacienda Nursing home in San Diego. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was a hard worker but made time to enjoy her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; one sister, Araceli O. Garza and one brother, Miguel Angel Garza

Micaela is survived by her mother, Marina Garza; father, Miguel T. Garza both of Alice, Texas; one daughter, Jerriann Garza; two sons, Daniel Gonzalez and Marcos Villagran all of Alice, Texas; one sister, Estella Garza; and one brother, Miguel Arcangel Garza, all of Alice, Texas; eight grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022 led by Pastor Jose Mejias at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 17, 2022, Pastor Jackeline Mejias officiating, at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel.  Burial will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
