Noe Ovalle Obituary

Noe M. Ovalle, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 19, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years old.

He was born in Driscoll, Texas on April 7, 1938 to Saturnina and Macario Ovalle. He retired after 32 years as Water Works Superintendent for the City of Agua Dulce. He was a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Agua Dulce, and was a former Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 13683.

He enjoyed dancing, was a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan, and was a jack of all trades. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his late wife, Aurora Ovalle, a son, Noe Ovalle, Jr., three brothers, Moises Ovalle, Jose Ovalle, and Domingo Ovalle, and three sisters, Maria Luz Trevino, Herminia Ovalle, and Catalina Ovalle.

Noe will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Elsa Ovalle of Agua Dulce, Texas; his five children, Yvette (Anselmo) Saenz of Agua Dulce, Texas; Noeida (Jeff) Grose of Corpus Christi, Texas; Veronica (Kenneth) Watkins of Virginia Beach, Virginia; William (Amanda) Rohrman of Waller, Texas; and Eloy (Veronica) Rohrman of Ganado, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren, Larissa Flores, Milo, Robbie Lynn, Taig, and Renee Saenz, all of Agua Dulce, Texas; Isabella Quinones, Gabriel, Faith, and Grace Watkins all of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Tyler, Trevin, and Tanner Rohrman all of Waller, Texas; Justin Rohrman of Orange Grove, Texas, and Chelsea Rohrman of Ganado, Texas, Nikki Ramon of Edinburg, Texas, Aurora, Julie, and John Michael Ovalle, all of Alice, Texas, Martin Salazar of Norfolk, Virginia, Vanessa (Hunter) Hogan of Austin, Texas, Xavier (Kayla) Salazar of Victoria, Texas, Raven Salazar of Ganado, Texas, Sierra Salazar of Norfolk, Virginia; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Guadalupe Ovalle of Alice, Texas, Ramon (Maria) Ovalle of Agua Dulce, Texas, Petra Cavazos and Guadalupe Mejias of Agua Dulce, Texas, and Celia Rodriguez of Kingsville, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice, Texas with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Agua Dulce, Texas. Interment will follow at Alice Cemetery in Alice, Texas.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
