Norma Flores, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, entered into eternal peace at the age of 69 on October 17, 2023.
She had a close bond with her parents and sisters and together, they shared a lifetime of joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Norma’s devotion to her family extended to her role as a grandmother. She took great pleasure in hearing about her grandchildren's sports stories and successes. In addition to her love for her family, Norma had a tremendous love for her friends, whom she’s known for more than fifty years. Her friends truly became her family.
Norma's kind and selfless nature was evident in everything she did. She always prioritized the needs of others before her own and brought warmth and love to everyone she encountered.
She had a passion for playing the slot machines in Las Vegas and enjoyed the game of Texas Hold'em poker. Norma was known for her larger-than-life personality with an immense sense of humor, passion for music and dancing, and her ability to tell a story that became epic and unforgettable. Her compassionate spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years of marriage, Ruben Flores; three children, Ruben (Michelle) Flores Jr, Robert (MariBelle) Flores, and Roxanne Flores; eight grandchildren, Leah Flores, Emily Flores, Hannah Flores, Landon Flores, Joaquin Flores, Diego Flores, Manolo Flores, and IsaBelle Flores; four sisters, Mary Arredondo, Elma (Armando) Ponce, Belinda Liguiz, and Linda (Israel) Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Roel and Carmen Canales; and her twin sister, Nelda Charles.
