Patricia Moore Franke

Patricia Moore Franke, age 97, joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Woodsboro, TX. She was born on July 13, 1928, in Morristown PA. to Robert Moore and Alice Barwise Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Franke; parents Robert and Alice Moore; brothers, John Moore and Joseph Moore; and sisters Dorthea Blount and Roberta Conelius.

Patricia lived her life for her family, community and church. She spent her days by her husband’s side farming and tending to her children.  Patricia was involved with her church choir, quilting group, and various activities involving her children.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her sons, Edwin Franke and Walt Franke (Jo Ann); grandchildren, Leah Renae Franke and Alfred Henry Franke; great-grandchildren, Stetson Lee Burks, Hunter Rose Franke, Hoslyn Lillie Franke and Hatley Lynette Franke; sisters, Miriam Miller and Joan Wenetschlaeger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, TX 78332. Visitation will be held  10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 600 S. Dibrell St., Orange Grove, Texas with a Christian Burial to follow at Sons of Herman Cemetery in Orange Grove, TX.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main Street, Alice, Texas.
