Patrick Randolph Hamilton, age 77, died peacefully at home near Riviera, Texas, on Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1944 in Kleberg County on land very close to where he passed.
A 1962 graduate of Riviera High School, Pat Hamilton served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1966. He spent the majority of his time in service at Naval Air Station Key West during the Cuban Missile Crisis Era as a radar and nuclear arms technician.
In July 1965 he married his high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Linda Jean Whitley Hamilton. Together they lived an admirable life, raising a loving family and building a successful business, Hamilton Farms.
He was proceeded in death by both parents, Thomas Kermit and Augusta Mittag Hamilton; daughter, Laura Jill Hamilton Cox; and sister, Margery Elaine Hamilton Malin.
Pat Hamilton is survived by his loving wife, Linda Jean Whitley Hamilton; his daughter, Amy Hamilton (John) Hubert; his grandchildren, Ezekiel Patrick Hubert and Isabel Claire Hubert; his brother, Thomas Kermit Hamilton, Jr.; his sisters, JoAnne Hamilton Russell and Linda Carol Hamilton Petro; and a multitude of nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Resthaven Cemetery.
