Ramon Nunez, Jr.

Ramon Nunez, Jr., passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 in Conroe, Texas. He was 49 years old.

Ramon was born on October 31, 1970 in Alice, Texas to Ramon R. Nunez and Clarita Garcia.

He enjoyed his family and loved to BBQ.

Ramon was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his four children, Andrew (Ariel) Leaf of Huntsville, Damien Nunez of Corpus Christi, Iliana Nunez of Conroe, and Alex Nunez of Conroe; two sisters, Rachel (Salvador) Lopez of Conroe and Nora Gonzalez of Conroe; three grandchildren, Kaden James Leaf, Madyson Amelia Leaf, and Misty Lee Nunez; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Nicole Garcia, Paul Michael Garcia, Ashley Michelle Lopez, Victor Reyna, Dulce Reyna, and Sofia Reyna.

Serving as Pallbearers; David Ortiz, Ruben Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Felix Porras, John Austin Ortiz, and Gabriel Alaniz. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St. Alice, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at St John of the Cross in Orange Grove, Texas.

Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Union Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas.
