Ramon M. Ovalle

Ramon M. Ovalle, age 73, died peacefully in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.  He was born on May 3, 1948 in Robstown, Texas to Macario Ovalle and Saturnina Mendoza.

Ramon was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved tending to his flowerbeds and garden. He was a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.

Ramon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Ramon is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maria R. Ovalle of Agua Dulce; children, Macario (Jessica) Ovalle of Kyle, Texas, Luis (Kelly) Ovalle of Cedar Park, Texas, Gracie (Mark) Howeth of Prosper, Texas, Elena (Frank) Medrano of Orange Grove, Texas, and Robert Ovalle of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Cymbria Medrano, Zaida Medrano, Olivia Ovalle, Addison Ovalle, Ian Ovalle, Mateo Ovalle, Max Ovalle, Briella Ovalle, Bonnie Ovalle, Jayden Howeth, and Avery Howeth; sisters, Petra Cavazos, Guadalupe Macias both of Agua Dulce, Texas, and Celia Rodriguez of Kingsville, Texas; and numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at St Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Celebrant, Father B. Pasala. A Christian Burial will follow at Alice Cemetery.
