Raul Jones III

We are saddened to announce the passing of Raul Jones III on November 4, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, due to injuries sustained in an accident. He was born to Jennifer Ybanez in Alice, Texas on December, 1, 2000.

Raul was a graduate of the Alice High School Class of 2021. He was a bright soul who loved spending time with his daughter, his everything, whom he affectionately nicknamed “Juicy”. He was always joking, laughing and making faces. Raul was the type of person to put a smile on anyone’s face even through his own pain. He also enjoyed playing basketball, Xbox, as well as soccer.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Santos Castillo, his paternal grandfather Raul Jones Sr.; cousin Julie Ybanez and his aunt Wanda Jones and step-grandparents Gregorio and  Diana Flores. 

Those left to cherish his memory are parents; Jennifer Ybanez and Guadalupe Gabriel Flores; daughter, Asiajah Giarosa Jones; siblings, Christopher A. Hernandez Jr., Haley Jae Jones, Alexandria Flores, Angelique (John) Flores, Aileen (San Juan) Flores and Avarielle Flores; maternal grandparents, Mauro Ybanez and Sylvia Contreras; paternal grandmother Rosa Gonzalez and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

A Visitation will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Chapel Service to follow at 12:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, Texas, 78332. A burial will follow at Alice Cemetery, in Alice, Texas, 1230 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Andrew Gaza, Joel Salinas, Jonathan Jacob Salinas, Pablo Izaiah Godines, Peighton Lainye Godines, Christopher Lee Rivera Jr, Ruben Xavier Rivera and Isabella Raquel Rivera. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, Texas.
