Reynaldo Hernandez, Sr.

Reynaldo Hernandez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed into his eternal rest on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the age of 68.

He was born in Benavides, Texas, on November 21, 1950 to Santos and Juan Jose Hernandez.

He worked as a roughneck in the oilfield industry until his retirement. He enjoyed bike riding, spending time with friends, and loved to be with his children and grandchildren.

Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Alma Hernandez, and two brothers, Baldemar Hernandez and Joe Hernandez.

Cherishing his memory are his loving children, Rosario H. Anguiano (Homero, Jr.) of Alice, Reynaldo Hernandez Jr. (Crissy) of Alice, and Ricardo Hernandez, (Trisha) of Alice; fifteen grandchildren, Alfredo Aguilar, Jr., Jason Cesar Aguilar (Marie V), Jasmine M. Hernandez, Desiree R. Hernandez, Reynaldo Hernandez, III, Mia N. Hernandez, Conner Hernandez, Meranda M. Ma (Sooin Ma), Reynaldo H. Vasquez, III, Homero Anguiano, III (Angel), Lydia Rose Anguiano, Erica Xitaly Anguiano, Edgar Anguiano, David Rivera, Jr. Jonathan Rivera (Bianca Ruvalcaba); five great-grandchildren, Jon Ryan Rivera, Meagan Sanchez, Jacelynn Rivera, Jonah Ma, Julianna Rivera; two brothers, Idelfonso Hernandez (Ninfa) of Benavides, and Gilbert Hernandez (Marie) of Plano; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel.

Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, Texas.
