Richard Anthony Villegas "Bacon"

Richard A. Villegas “Bacon”, age 37, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 in Alice, TX. He was born in Alice, TX on April 17, 1984 to Luis Antonio Villegas Sr. and Carmen Rivas Villegas.

Richard worked in the oilfield industry for 15 years. He enjoyed BBQ’n, taking back road drives, listening to music, loved his truck, the Dallas Cowboys, and his family. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Richard is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Esther M. Villegas; and maternal grandparents, Juan T. Rivas and Carolina DeAnda.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 15 years, Tiffany Villegas; son, Aron Anthony Villegas; daughters, Kayla Leeann Villegas, Haylee Carolina Villegas, and Baylee Carmela Villegas all of Alice, TX; parents, Luis and Carmen Villegas; brothers, Luis (Christina) Villegas and Johnnyray (Cristal) Villegas; sister, Bridget Nicole Villegas (Christian Galvan); and paternal grandfather, Rey Villegas all of Alice, TX; mother-in-law, Nora Garcia of Corpus Christi, TX; father-in-law, Robert Hinojosa of Corpus Christi, TX; sister-in law, Iris Contreras of Alice, TX; brothers-in-law, Alex Longoria and Joel Garcia both of Corpus Christi, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St. Alice, TX. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 603 E. 5th St, Alice, TX, celebrant, Monsignor L. Pivonka. A Christian Burial will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
