It is with great Sadness that the Family of Robert Rodriguez, age 68 announces his passing on Wednesday, Nov.26, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. Robert was born in Alice, Texas to Rodrigo G. Rodriguez and Hilda Cardenas Rodriguez on April 28, 1957.
He was a devoted Father and Grandfather to all his Family. He will be remembered for his loving, kind-heartedness and happy personality. Robert loved everyone and enjoyed being with his family and friends. He attended St. Monica Catholic Church, in Converse, Texas. He played Baseball, Bowled, Hunted Game and golfed in his younger years, plus loved taking his children camping when they were little kids. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys, and the Houston Texans Team.
Robert was a craftsman at heart, and loved working with his hands on Carpentry projects, he was always willing to help anyone that asked, and loved to do so.
He retired from R & R Donnelley's & Son's in Willard, Ohio after 30 yrs. of Service, then moved to Texas and later again worked at RAFB in Universal City, Texas for several years, he then Retired again from the SAISD in San Antonio, Texas after 6 yrs. of Service.

He is Survived by his Two Sons and One Daughter, Joshua Smith Rodriguez of Willard, Ohio, Jared Smith Rodriguez of Willard, Ohio, Jessica Smith Rodriguez Trukovich (Erick) of Ashland, Ohio; Six Granddaughters, Four Grandsons, One Great Grandson, One Step Grandson and One Step Granddaughter, all from Ohio; One Sister Diana C. Rodriguez Dalton (James); Three Brother's Danny Cardenas Rodriguez, Austin, Texas, Rodrigo Cardenas Rodriguez Jr, Houston, Texas, David Cardenas Rodriguez, Universal City, Texas; Mary Wrattan (His Partner of 17 Years)
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary 2061 E. Main St. Alice, Texas. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church 200 S. Metz in Orange Grove, Texas, followed by Christian Burial at Pro Union Cemetery.
