Roberta Ann Riddle

Roberta Ann Perkins Riddle, age 83, of Alice, passed away Sunday, April 13th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born August 18, 1941 in North Dakota, the daughter of the late Robert Rosell and Adeline "MeMe" Bruce.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Richard "Dickie" Bruce, one son, Kristian Keith Perkins and the love of her life, Terry Leon Riddle.

Roberta lived her life in Alice from the age of 11 and graduated William Adams High School in May of 1959. Many will remember her days working at various banks, flower shops and P&S Hospital where she was often known as "Bobbi". In her later years she owned and operated the "534 Club" and "Renegade Red" by Lake Corpus Christi before returning to Alice to spend her remaining years at home or visiting family. An avid artist, she created many works including fabric dolls, corn husk dolls, yard art, paintings and the always ready-at-hand homemade cards for all occasions.

She is survived by her sister, Bonnie (J.C.) Misenhimer of Russellville, Arkansas, brother, Robert Keith Bruce of Russellville, Arkansas, her son, Kevin (Sarah) Perkins of Alice, Texas, son Kurtis Perkins of Sandia, Texas, daughter Kerri Spykes of Sealy, Texas, step-daughter, Michelle Riddle of Bastrop, Texas. Granddaughter Jacquelyn (Andrew) Nix of Alice, Texas, Granddaughter Bethany Dillinger of Dallas, Texas, Grandson Trent Perkins of Alice, Texas, Grandson Brady Perkins Crigger of Atkins, Arkansas and Grandson Dylan Spykes of College Station, Texas. Great Grandchildren are James Nix, Silas Nix, Sadie Nix, Piper Nix, Isibel Dillinger, Harley Dillinger, Beau Perkins, Evie Perkins, Brylie Williams and Staleigh Crigger. She also leaves many well-loved cousins and friends. Of special note are her brothers-in-laws Wayne Riddle and Russell Riddle and dear friends Stanley Grossman and Leroy Jackson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 17th, 2025 from 8:00 - 10:00 AM.  The Memorial Service will run from 10:00 - 11:00 AM followed by a fellowship meal at Holmgreen Hall located at 2061 E. Main St. Alice, Texas.   Burial is scheduled at 4:00 PM this same day at Bunton Cemetery, 3078 FM 1854 Dale, Texas.

 Pallbearers: Trent Perkins, Beau Perkins, Andrew Nix, James Nix, Silas Nix and Dylan Spykes.

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
